Abstract

Its authors are professors and academics at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, which is intensively and successfully developing various forms of international co-operation. This book is the fruit of experience gained from academic research and international projects, as well as from teaching foreign students. The publication is aimed primarily at foreign students looking for information on Polish law or intending to take part of their legal studies in Poland. The Handbook could also be useful to teachers of law and enable them to include Polish law in comparative legal studies. Finally, the Handbook can assist foreign judges and lawyers by placing Polish law in perspective and may help with practical understanding.
